Latin Patriarchate School–Al Wassieh Wins Arab Gold Award

With great pride, Latin Patriarchate School – Al Wasiyya has achieved a significant milestone by winning the Gold Medal (1st Place – Open Category) at the Arab Innovation Nation Competition. The competition featured over 1,100 projects and 15,000 participants from 800 schools across the Arab world. Grade 11 students Shas Jihad Al-Habashneh and Sarah Bashar Al-Rashdan distinguished themselves through their innovative project, Life Sense—a smart home-based health monitoring device designed for patients with kidney failure. The project integrates IoT and AI, offering a forward-thinking approach to intelligent and preventive healthcare. This exceptional accomplishment has also secured their qualification for the global finals in Indonesia, scheduled for mid-May. In recognition of this achievement, the Director of Education for Karak District, Mr. Nidal Al-Fatinat, visited the school to congratulate its administration and students.
