MoU Signing to Strengthen Child Protection
As part of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan’s commitment to fostering a safe and supportive school environment and promoting the principles of child protection, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of child protection was signed on September 16, 2026, between the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan, represented by its Chairman, Rev. Fr. Dr. Firas Nassraween, and Thakaa for Cognitive Development, represented by Ms. Yasar Nassar. The MoU aims to establish a framework for joint cooperation that contributes to raising awareness of child protection principles through the implementation of awareness and training programs targeting students, school staff, and parents. These initiatives seek to strengthen preventive practices and support the provision of a safe educational environment that safeguards students’ safety and well-being. This partnership reflects the Latin Patriarchate Schools’ ongoing commitment to developing a comprehensive student protection system and fostering a culture of awareness and shared responsibility within the school community, based on the belief that child protection is a fundamental pillar of a successful and sustainable educational environment.
