Latin Patriarchate School in Naour

History & Summary

Latin Patriarchate School – Naour was established in 1924 to meet the growing educational needs of Naour and its surrounding areas. Over the decades, the school has grown into a vibrant center for learning and cultural exchange, where harmony and understanding among the diverse local community are strongly emphasized. Initially, the school operated in 1954 in a building adjacent to the Rosary Sisters' convent, offering the first four elementary grades. A kindergarten was added in 1971. In 1991, a new building was constructed near the church and the convent, expanding the school to sixth grade. By 2009, the school had grown to include up to the eighth grade, and due to increased demand, an additional floor was added, allowing the school to reach the tenth grade. It currently offers classes up to the eleventh grade.
