Latin Patriarchate School in Safout

Latin Patriarchate School in Safout

Founded in 1934, Latin Patriarchate School – Safout is one of the oldest and most prominent educational institutions in the area. It serves students from surrounding communities including Ain Basha, Abu Nseir, Sweileh, Al-Sarou, and Al-Kamaliyyeh. Renovation and expansion efforts in 1979 under Patriarch Giacomo Beltritti, and later in 2020 led by Father Aldo Tolotto, have allowed the school to grow while preserving its mission. The school adheres to the national educational system and is dedicated to providing high academic standards alongside moral and character development. As a Catholic pastoral school, it fosters a spirit of inclusivity, welcoming all students regardless of cultural or religious background. It focuses on nurturing students’ identity and behavior while equipping them to engage confidently with society. With symbolic and affordable tuition fees, the school ensures quality education remains accessible to all families.
