Opening of the New Theater at Al-Wassieh school
On Saturday, August 16, 2025, the Latin Patriarchate Secondary School in Al-Wassieh celebrated the opening of its new theater, generously donated by Mr. George Nasra and his wife Mrs. Diana Madanat, under the patronage of His Excellency Bishop Iyad Al -Twal. The ceremony was attended by Fr. Dr. Firas Nasrawin, General Manager of the Latin Patriarchate Schools, who welcomed the distinguished guests and expressed his gratitude to the donors for their generous support. Also present were Fr. Dr. Ashraf Al-Nimri, Secretary General of Christian Educational Institutions in Jordan, along with priests, nuns, school principals from Karak, representatives of the local community, officials, and parents. The event concluded with Bishop Iyad Al-Twal blessing the new theater, affirming that this renewed landmark will serve as a cultural and educational space that enriches the community and strengthens the school’s mission.
